My soldered glass pendant pieces are carefully hand-crafted through a multi-step process. They are encased in hand-cut glass, individually soldered and polished to a silvery finish. The beauty and originality of each creation is like wearing a miniature art gallery. From vintage designs to whimsical images, they are a wonderful accessory for anyone and make a thoughtful and personalized gift!
In addition to the very popular soldered glass pendants I now have a variety of sterling silver, copper and brass earrings, mixed media stamped cuff bracelets, sterling silver stamped disc charms, gemstone and charm enhancements, and an emerging interest in wall art.
I use many recycled and found components in several of my pieces. I love to use old watch parts, vintage keyholes, copper pipe, mixed metals, gears, wires, rivets, nuts and bolts, vintage silver flatware, classic glass and crystal beads blended with an endless array of images. Each piece is made with care and attention to detail.
Due to the chance findings, many of the pieces are either a limited edition or one of a kind. Seeing the functional beauty in unexpected objects is a large part of the fun and creativity that I enjoy with Hard-Wear Designs.
